About Dan Jones

Sifu Dan Jones has over forty five years of experience as a martial arts practitioner. He is a Master level Tai Chi Chuan and Internal Gongfu Instructor. His experience includes thirty five years of Tai Chi Chuan, Won Chuen Temple Boxing and twelve years of combined experience in Japanese Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Wing Chun Gongfu and Shoring Ryu Karate. Sifu Jones is a Tai Chi for Arthritis Master Trainer Emeritus with extensive experience in Tai Chi for Fall Prevention, Tai Chi for Diabetes, Tai Chi for Osteoporosis, Tai Chi for Back Pain, Chen, Yang, Sun and Five Element Tai Chi Systems. He is also extensively trained in various Tai Chi and Gongfu weapons. He is a Certified Medical Qigong Practitioner and Sifu (teacher) of Tai Chi Chuan and Won Chuen Temple boxing. Sifu Jones has developed several tai chi healing forms and programs including the Moving Stillness Spiraling Earth Dragon Tai Chi Fan form, Moving Stillness Spiraling Water Dragon Tai Chi Fan Form, Advance Tai Chi Depth Principles and Silk Reeling programs, Cane Assisted Tai Chi Program, Beginning Tai Chi Cane Program, Heaven and Earth Tai Chi Cane Program and Tai Chi Joint Longevity Health Programs: Therapeutic Tai Chi for Shoulder Rehabilitation & Therapeutic Tai Chi Foundational Joint Health and Fall Prevention. Sifu Jones also teaches various other tai chi weapons such as the Tai Chi Straight sword, staff and spear.

He is a retired law enforcement officer and security professional with over thirty eight years of combined experience in law enforcement, undercover operations, hostage negotiations, Pressure Points and Control Tactics Instructor, Spontaneous Knife Defense Instructor, ASP Tactical Baton Instructor, executive protection and security management.

Sifu Jones is the owner and founder of Moving Stillness, a training business that teaches and promotes the fluid and graceful art of Tai Chi Chuan, qigong, Whole Food Diet and Nutrition Counseling, Food and Wellness Education and Health Coaching Support and Motivational Services. He is a trained Healing Foods Culinary Instructor and Food and Wellness Educator. His business also promotes healing and holistic health through cooking classes based on natural healing principles that utilize organic whole foods and health supportive cooking techniques. He is a board certified Holistic Health Practitioner accredited with the Association of Drugless Practitioners, the Conscious Gourmet Institute and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
